KISS FANS ORGANIZE ROCK HALL PROTEST

About two hundred KISS fans sporting crude Kabuki makeup stationed themselves outside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, protesting the band's continued failure to be honored by the organization. By Rock Hall standards (which state that at least twenty-five years must have elapsed since a nominee's first album was released) the hard rockers have been eligible for induction since the late 1990s. The demonstration was the first by fans of any overlooked artist, according to a museum spokesman. This year's inductees included BLACK SABBATH, BLONDIE, MILES DAVIS, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, SEX PISTOLS, HERB ALPERT and JERRY MOSS. [from rollingstone.com]
