travels with fio - london day 3
So after showering, lunching, coffeeing, and walking by Alfred Hitchcock's house, I worked my way to Earl's Court for the beer festival. Had a couple of hours to myself as the angry drunk before Brian and lee showed up. More beers than you can drink, thhousands of drunk english blokes, long lines for the bathroom. We stayed for about 5-6 hours had a drink at another pub then the long trip home on the tube (you know before it shuts down at 11:30!!). First train we got on terminated at Cockfosters but thankfully we had to change trains because I didn't want to know what was there. An extremely dunk girl on the tube left a pouch behind that Brian pointed out to Lee. It wound up containing 30 pounds and there was a long discussion on who it belonged to. After much discussion we decided to use it to get drunk on sunday. Went to a local bar. the one that is like the village barn but at night transforms into the local 'plastic gangster' bar as lee put it, Brian wanted no part. Had to be patted down to get in and half the people in there looked like 'Growing up Gotti' but only cheesier. Really scary. On the way home stopped at Chicken Stop for Chicken Burgers and fries with extra mayo apparently. Came back home and Brian was eating some fried pseudo-food and drinking a beer. Finished our food and had some of the bourbon i brought over. Lee spent 45 minutes explaining how there are 6 channel 4's in London and one looks into the past and another into the future or some shit like that. Passed out somewhere around 2 and just woke up and have no idea what were going to do today. Still tasting every beer and fried chicken in my mouth, Fio
