The tenants of 47 E. 3rd Street are fighting against their landlord's attempt to mass-evict them and convert their 15-unit tenement into a mansion for herself--complete with gym and nanny quarters. The legal battle has cost the tenants over $150,000, and the outcome of the pending case will set a precedent throughout all of New York State.
