House moves to gut Endangered Species Act

The House of Representatives recently passed H.R. 3824, Congressman Pombo's bill to gut the Endangered Species Act. For over 30 years the Endangered Species Act has worked to restore America's fish, wildlife and native plants threatened with extinction. The Endangered Species Act is the safety net for our people's natural heritage, having been successful in preventing the extinction of over 99% of all species ever placed under the law's care. Without a strong Endangered Species Act it is very possible that wildlife, such as the bald eagle, would not be able to be enjoyed by the American people today.
Since it is illegal to hunt down politicians like Pombo and deal with them like the waste of space they are...here's a positive way you can help. http://whistler.sierraclub.org/action/tamain?alid=420
